Panel: Reconstitution and Reinforcement - Sustaining Combat Power in Orbit

Wed, January 28

Space Mobility

In a contested and rapidly evolving space domain, the warfighter’s ability to reconstitute and reinforce capability after degradation, loss, or attrition is fundamental to mission assurance. This panel will examine the full spectrum of approaches that enable the force to restore or bolster combat power under threat - ranging from responsive and tactical launch to proliferated constellations, modular replacement architectures, in-orbit spares, and commercial augmentation. Discussion will center on what the U.S. Space Force and its partners can realistically execute today if conflict were to arise tomorrow: what tools are ready, where gaps remain, and how operational integration across SSC, USSPACECOM, and industry can accelerate progress.
