SpaceCom | Space Congress: ADVANCE

This panel will explore the evolving challenges and solutions for securing space systems end-to-end—from building resilient architectures, redundancy, and fail-safe designs to addressing supply chain cybersecurity and protecting data at rest, in transit, and in use.

The discussion will cover how organizations can design and operate resilient space systems—across satellites, ground control, and communication links—that can withstand and recover from cyberattacks. It will also highlight the growing importance of CMMC compliance, as space sector contractors and suppliers—especially those working with the U.S. Department of Defense—must adopt stricter cybersecurity controls. Finally, the panel will explore best practices for protecting sensitive space data at every stage, ensuring mission continuity and regulatory alignment.

The panel brings together representatives from the DoD, industry, and subject matter experts, with support from NDIA (National Defense Industrial Organization).
