Alex Herbets leads business development for national security customers at Starfish Space, where he also manages the company’s engagement with stakeholders on Capitol Hill. Based in Washington, D.C., Alex brings deep experience in dual-use technology. Prior to joining Starfish in 2023, he worked at Viasat, designing and building full-motion satellite ground stations for both the Department of Defense and commercial users. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Emory University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
