Angela Krenn
Angela is a seasoned engineer and technologist with more than two decades of experience advancing space exploration systems. Currently, Angela serves as the Chief Technologist for NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate.
She began her career as a cryogenics engineer where she supported 25 Space Shuttle missions. After the Shuttle Program, she held key roles in design, analysis, architecture development, and research for cryogenic and thermal management systems. She holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and both an MBA and MS in Physics from the University of Central Florida, blending a rigorous technical foundation with strategic insight. Angela is passionate about solving complex engineering challenges, bridging research with operations, and inspiring the next generation of aerospace innovators through her leadership in both technical and cross-disciplinary initiatives.
