Dr. David Chesny is an applied plasma physicist and the Chief Science Officer at Equilibria Power. He has long experience in advanced technology research and development and is the principal investigator of the DOE MRR project. He has over twenty peer-reviewed publications in the fields of space exploration technologies, plasma physics, magnetics, and solar physics. He focuses on the demonstration of nuclear electric propulsion and the deployment of modular solid-state switching into the plasma physics and fusion communities.
