Joey Palmowski holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska. He has over 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer and project manager, spanning across various industries including nuclear power, surgical robotics, and space exploration. Since joining Honeybee Robotics in 2018, he has garnered a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the aerospace industry, progressing from an early career mechanical engineer to now a distinguished systems engineer and project lead at the company. Currently, Joey leads multiple R&D projects at Honeybee Robotics, specializing in designing and building robotic technologies for extreme environments throughout the solar system.
