Justin Kugler is an expert in space industrialization and has been at the forefront of developing technologies and business opportunities for emerging space markets, including in-space manufacturing, private space platforms, and lunar operations. He is currently Senior Director of Business Development for Intuitive Machines' core business verticals of space transportation, data services, and infrastructure and leads the incubation of new strategic growth opportunities for the company. These include the Commercialization Plan for the Moon RACER Lunar Terrain Vehicle and the international team supporting IM’s new Zephyr Earth Entry Vehicle.

Previously, Justin helped Fortune 500 companies like Goodyear and Dow Chemical conduct their first experiments on the International Space Station (ISS) and worked with pioneering companies, like Nanoracks, to fly the first commercial microgravity experiments for the ISS National Laboratory. Justin is a systems engineer with degrees and certifications from Texas A&M University, Rice University, and the University of Houston. He served as a weapons intelligence officer at the Central Intelligence Agency and developed crew health and safety models for the Constellation Training Facility.

During his tenure as an executive at Made In Space and Redwire, Justin led partnerships with NASA and DARPA on microgravity manufacturing and technology development; advised the US Government on policy regarding in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing and the Low Earth Orbit economy; and led the strategy for the first commercially-owned and operated research facilities for industrial crystal materials and ceramic additive manufacturing in space.
