Michael Creech
Michael Creech joined Firefly in February 2025 bringing extensive experience building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams to grow existing capabilities and expand into new/adjacent markets.
Prior to Firefly, Michael led GDMS’ Advanced Space Programs team focused on developing new technology and growing GDMS’ Space Systems business. He led strategy and development of several new technologies within PNT, RF Comm, RF ISR, Networking & Processing resulting in multiple anchor customers leading to new production lines. Michael also expanded existing products/capabilities and led expansion into new markets & customers with these products.
Prior to GDMS, Michael was at Boeing and Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company with increasing levels of responsibility. He held leadership roles in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Program Management, and Strategy & Business Development. Michael developed business strategies, campaign/capture plans, and technology to grow both businesses within the highly dynamic space market. This includes winning a major multi-billion dollar Program of Record, executing a concept-to-operations demonstration program leading to a new franchise program, expand existing production programs, and several other study/demo programs to enter new markets.
Michael has a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
