Neil Mickelson is a National Security Space professional with over 25 years of experience in space launch and satellite ground segment acquisition, systems engineering, solution development, and program management experience. Mr. Mickelson entered the U.S. Air Force in 1996 and served at the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). Since joining Booz Allen Hamilton in 2003, Mr. Mickelson led multiple National Security Space client engagements and business development efforts in the space community across diverse segments including satellite ground system engineering and development, space launch, policy and strategy, strategic communicatons, and human resources. He is currently a Program Manager leading a diverse team of systems engineers, cloud architects, DevSecOps engineers, and software developers to design, deploy, and operate a custom cloud-hosted platform supporting mission and enterprise systems for national space systems.
Mr. Mickelson has a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
