Ryan is Head of Business Development at Array Labs, a startup in Silicon Valley building the satellites, sensors, and software necessary to produce the first high-resolution, near-real-time 3D map of the world. At Array, he leads BD and is responsible for sales of the company's current product, Site3D, as well as securing reservations and prepurchases aboard the company's first (and future) 3D-imaging satellite clusters. He also helps lead marketing, communications, and PR at Array Labs, and pitches in with public-sector and government capture efforts.

Ryan hails from the world of media. By days and nights, he is the cofounder and Editor in Chief of Per Aspera, a digital publisher advancing the deep tech renaissance and celebrating hard pursuits. Previously, he was the founding & managing editor of Payload, and prior to that, he was among the first 10 employees at Morning Brew, a popular digital media company that was acquired in 2020. At the Brew, Ryan launched the company's 2nd-ever product, a vertical dedicated to emerging technologies like space, self-driving, 3D content, and mixed reality.

Ryan is a resident of Austin, Texas, but he has also lived in (and traveled extensively throughout) Europe and the Middle East. In his exceedingly rare time he enjoys flying his drone, running, lifting heavy objects, writing, and boxing in virtual reality.
