Dr. Ryan McDevitt is the Co-Founder and CTO of Benchmark Space Systems, an innovative in-space mobility partner with government and commercial mission heritage across a portfolio of various propulsion technologies and solutions. Since its inception in 2017, Ryan grew the operation to 65+ employees with offices in Vermont and California.
Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as well as a master’s degree and a doctorate from the University of Vermont. At UVM, he conducted graduate studies within the Small Satellite group, where he worked on a NASA-funded program to develop micropropulsion technologies that later became the basis for Benchmark’s first products
