After leaving the United States Air Force Academy as a distinguished graduate studying Electrical and Computer Engineering, Lt Lewis joined the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles Directorate as an autonomous systems engineer. Before his current role as AFRL/RVSV’s Space Logistics and Robotics Deputy Lead, Lt Lewis played an important role in transitioning AFRL’s research to technology the warfighter can use. These AFRL efforts are enabling the next generation of warfare and space logistics. As the current program manager of Rancor, a multimillion government-owned/government-operated refueling depot, Lt Lewis has a unique insight into the future of space logistics.
