Solange Massa
Dr. Solange Massa is the Founder and CEO of Ecoatoms, a venture-backed company and NASA partner specializing in space manufacturing and research payloads. Under her leadership, Ecoatoms has served Fortune 500 companies, academia, and government agencies across biomedical, aerospace, and defense sectors. The company has received prestigious accolades, including the AFWERX Challenge (2021), The Reef Starter Innovation Challenge by Blue Origin (2022), the NASA REDDI Award (2022), and the NASA TechLeap Prize (2024). Prior to her career in aerospace, Dr. Massa was the Lead Investment Fellow at Life Science Angels, where she continues to serve as a member. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, focusing on biomaterials for radiation-induced diseases. During her doctoral research at the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program, she developed award-winning Organ-on-a-Chip platforms, earning recognition as an MIT Innovator Under 35. Her work has been widely featured in TEDx, MIT Technology Review, BBC, Wired, and leading scientific journals.
