Dr. Solange Massa is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ecoatoms, a NASA partner specializing in space manufacturing. Under Dr. Massa’s leadership, Ecoatoms has successfully executed multiple space missions. These include L.E.T.O., a lunar biological payload; A.R.E.S., containing hundreds of autonomous experiments; A.N.I.M.A., the universal payload interface; and leading upcoming missions like H.E.R.M.E.S., a DNA extraction payload. Prior to founding Ecoatoms, Dr. Massa held the position of Lead Investment Fellow at Life Science Angels and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University studying radiation-induced diseases. During her doctoral research at the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology, Dr. Massa pioneered award-winning Organ-on-a-Chip platforms, earning her recognition as an MIT Innovator Under 35. Her contributions to science and technology have been featured in TEDx, MIT Technology Review, BBC, Wired, and numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals with over 3,700 citations.
